National Social Service

National Social Service or N.S.S. wing of this college is highly acclaimed everywhere. The extension activities of the institution are realized basically through N.S.S. Under sincere and able guidance of the three Programme Officers Sri Prasit Ranjan Ghosh, Sri Subhasish Goswami and Sri Samar Kanti Chakraborty, the three units of N.S.S. volunteers (each unit consists of one hundred volunteers) of this college organize numerous camps, rural development activities, awareness programmes, lectures, seminars, talks on different burning issues of social, academic, economic relevance.

National Cadet Corps

National Cadet Corps or N.C.C. of this college imparts military training to the interested students, both boys and girls. Under able guidance of Sri Gopal Haldar and with the sincere support of Senior Under Officer Sri Paresh Saw, these units send eligible cadets to different national level N.C.C. camps and prepare the cadets successfully for different uniformed defense services.

Students’ Union

The members and the office-bearers including the General Secretary of the Students’ Union of the college are elected by the students according to the rules of the State Government and the statute of the affiliating university.

Cultural & Sports Activities

The college has a tradition of excellent performance in extra-curricular activities. Under responsible supervision and guidance of some of the teachers, the students of this college participate in different district, university and state level cultural and sports & games competitions and tournaments and very frequently top among them.
